Coaching is a structured partnership that builds clarity, skill, and readiness. Carolyn works with individuals and families navigating separation, divorce, co-parenting, and family transition.
Individual coaching supports those who are contemplating the end of a marriage, moving through the divorce process, or reorganizing life amidst a family transition. Coaching helps clients clarify their priorities, engage in productive communication, and coordinate effectively with other professionals, such as lawyers, mediators, and financial advisors.
Joint coaching brings two or more members of a family system into a shared process. This may be co-parents working on communication or the practical mechanics of two-household family life, a parent and new partner integrating with the family system, or grandparents or adult siblings navigating a reorganized family.
Sessions are conducted via video conference.

Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process in which a neutral third person, the mediator, facilitates informal dialogue to support dispute resolution among the parties.
Carolyn is a trained family mediator whose work centers on parenting plans. She helps co-parents develop or revisit considered, customized agreements that grow with children and parents. Carolyn also mediates other family conflicts where a structured, supported process would help parties reach durable agreements.
Mediation is conducted via video conference.

Through Conversations that Contribute, her public education series, Carolyn hosts experts across disciplines to explore how adults can better support young people in communication and conflict. All proceeds from the series are donated to nonprofits serving youth and families.
Carolyn is available for virtual and in-person workshops and speaking engagements.
